Open source Hardware

A portable hop harvester designed for small-scale hop production, capable of serving a 1-acre hop yard per day...

The Mobile Hop Picker is a trailer-mounted mechanical harvester developed to support small-scale hop growers in the Northeastern United States. Designed to process up to two bines per minute, it features a stripping section, dribble belts, and a hydraulic system powered by a PTO pump. The machine was constructed using a steel frame, unistrut channels for adjustability, and components sourced from various manufacturers. While a dedicated open-source repository is not available, detailed design information, including schematics and parts lists, is provided in the project documentation.
