A model for fertilization management, providing source code for crop fertilization simulations, aiding in precise nutrient management...

GDAY (Generic Decomposition And Yield) is a C-based ecosystem simulation model that tracks carbon, nitrogen, and water dynamics at the stand scale. It can run at either daily or sub-daily (30-minute) time steps, using different photosynthesis models depending on the resolution. GDAY supports two-layer or SPA-style water balance modules, a CENTURY-based soil decomposition model, and is configurable via INI-style parameter files. It is intended for ecological and agro-environmental research applications and includes example scripts for running simulations and parameter customization using Python.
