Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznan Institute of Technology has a great experience in European research projects focusing on implementing solution in the fields like logistics, agricultural and food technology, wood technology, metal forming, rail vehicles and information technologies.
L-PIT works also on designing and testing new solutions that enable electronic data exchange across borders in areas such as business services, e-Justice, e-Health, and e-procurement. The agricultural field was mainly investigated by L-PIT while participating in projects as IRRSAT, Passporting of Polish food and Autonomous Green House (Smart Agri Hubs).
Role in the project:
The main goal for L-PIT in the OpenAgri project is to create easily accessible and universal smart irrigation controller capable of integrating with agroERP systems (SIP4). This goal will be achieved in cooperation with national partners such as PSNC, WODR and the selected agricultural entrepreneur.
Apart from taking part in pilots, L-PIT will also participate in other work packages as: WP2 regarding creating common semantic model and marginally in WP4 and WP5.
